The EU’s multiannual financial framework, a seven-year budget powering policies within and beyond its borders, will enter negotiations for the post-2027 period in 2025. Building on years worth of analysis of the EU’s long-term budget, we will closely monitor the upcoming negotiations, focusing in particular on Europe’s global role and relations with its neighbourhood, Africa and the Global South.
