AU-EU relations one year after the 2022 summit

Almost one year has passed since the long-awaited sixth EU-AU summit took place in Brussels – a year in which we witnessed a multitude of crises and geopolitical shifts. What has become of the commitments African and European leaders made at the summit? And how have last year’s geopolitics and crises impacted the relationship?
