The third episode of our 'ECDPM Talks on: COP27' podcast series was made in collaboration with CASCADES and is also a part of the 'Behind CASCADES' podcast series. In this episode, Sophie Desmidt, Head of Peace, Security and Resilience team at ECDPM, talks to Salma Kadry, Program Officer at the Cairo International Center for Conflict Resolution, Peacekeeping and Peacebuilding.

Sophie and Salma Kadry discuss how the impacts of climate change can compound existing vulnerabilities to increase the risk of conflict and threaten human security, in particular among women and girls. They also discuss the role COP27 can play in addressing the intersection of climate, gender and security.
