The EU budget: State of play and implications of COP30 outcomes
On 26 January 2026, from 20:00-21:30 CET, ECDPM and DanChurchAid are co-organising an informal dinner to discuss the Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) and Global Europe negotiations following the COP30 outcomes. The event is hosted by H.E. the Ambassador of Uganda to the EU.
This is a closed-door and invite-only event.
Aim
The objective of the dinner is to take stock of the negotiations on Global Europe and the MFF, and to discuss how the political and financial outcomes of COP30 may influence priorities and allocations in the forthcoming EU budget.
This event aims to facilitate a candid, off-the-record exchange among a small group, including MEPs Barry Andrews and Rasmus Nordqvist, alongside think tanks, NGOs, and development actors.
