Gautam Kamath (Associate)

Biography

Gautam Kamath is an independent policy consultant based in Brussels and an Associate in ECDPM's digital economy and governance team.

His research interests focus on digital infrastructure and governance, the geopolitics of technology and the impact of emerging technology (AI, Quantum) on economic security. Gautam also has deep expertise on South Asia, East Asia and EU-US relations.

Gautam has spent over a decade working at world renowned tech companies across different geographies (Central, South and Southeast Asia, Europe, US), as well as at large international organisations like the United Nations and World Bank. 

Gautam has a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School, an MBA from National Taiwan University and a liberal arts foundation from University College Maastricht. He is a past recipient of the Taiwan Scholarship.
