Matching financing supply with (bankable) agribusiness pipelines along key African corridors
On 28-29 May 2026 in Lusaka, ECDPM, together with the African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD) and supported by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, are hosting a strategic investment dialogue which aims to facilitate matching between "supply" of African, European and International capital with the "demand" for financing from sustainable agribusiness projects along African corridors.
This initiative seeks to transform the Lobito, Northern, and Abidjan–Lagos corridors from narrow infrastructure projects into integrated development hubs. By aligning sustainable development with geostrategic objectives, the project identifies bankable opportunities in agri-food and logistics that can be unlocked through policy reform and blended finance.
This dialogue serves as a critical platform to translate regional roadmaps into action. By convening African firms, European private sector associations, and global financial institutions alongside national and EU officials, we aim to establish the specific public-private partnerships needed to finance and deliver these strategic regional investments.
