InfoPoint conference : Opportunities and challenges for the implementation of the Humanitarian-Development-Peace (HDP) Nexus

On 11 May 2023 from 14:00-16:00 CET, ECDPM will present a study commissioned by the European Commission on the challenges and opportunities of implementing the Humanitarian - Development - Peace Nexus in nine countries during an InfoPoint conference.

The EU has advocated for a more integrated approach to shape more complementarity between humanitarian aid, development cooperation and political engagement and has developed an
extensive policy framework for doing so.

This session will present the results of a study undertaken by ECDPM and Particip in close cooperation with DG INTPA, the EEAS, DG ECHO and FPI to find out more about the hurdles and opportunities of the EU's implementation of the Humanitarian-Development-Peace Nexus (or Triple Nexus) in nine different countries since 2017.
