Volker Hauck is a senior executive at ECDPM.
He specialises in security, peace and capacity development with a focus on conflict prevention, peacebuilding and fragility, political economy, decentralisation and local governance, technical assistance and organisational change.
Volker joined ECDPM in 1998 as a senior programme officer capacity development and was the head of knowledge management and communications from 2007 to 2012.
Before joining ECDPM, Volker worked in Africa, Asia and Europe with the UN and the International Federation of Red Cross and Crescent Societies at the interface of linking relief, rehabilitation and development. He holds master’s degrees in political science/international relations and public administration from the University of Amsterdam and the University of Speyer.
