EU-India clean tech cooperation: Opportunities for shared industrial competitiveness

On 25 March 2026 from 10:00-11:30 CET, ECDPM, in collaboration with the Indian Embassy to the European Union, are organising a strategic stakeholder dialogue on EU–India cooperation in clean technologies.
Background
The European Union and India share a strong and growing interest in advancing sustainable industrialisation while navigating the green transition in a way that ensures energy security and resilient supply chains. Deepening trade and investment between the two partners is central to achieving these objectives.
ECDPM, in collaboration with the Indian Embassy to Belgium, Luxembourg and the European Union, is organising this event to bring together stakeholders across government, industry, academia, and think tanks to explore this further. The objective is to open up a space for discussion to better understand some of the current opportunities and challenges to EU-India collaboration on clean tech.
Such exchanges are a cornerstone of the EU-India Trade and Technology Council (TTC), to strengthen cooperation in strategic sectors and foster greater people-to-people connectivity. This event aims to contribute to the discussions of Working Group 2 of the EU-India TTC by providing a dedicated platform for dialogue on clean technologies.
