On 23 February 2022 from 10:30 to 12:00 CET, ECDPM’s Anna Knoll spoke at the webinar ‘AU-EU Summit Debrief: A closer look at migration and mobility cooperation‘ which was co-organised by the European Policy Centre (EPC) and the Mercator Dialogue on Asylum and Migration (MEDAM).

Following the 6th AU-EU Summit, this Policy Dialogue was an occasion to reflect on the conclusions on migration and mobility, and examine to what extent the aspirations to achieve deeper AU-EU cooperation in this field can be turned into concrete resolutions.
The discussion focused in particular on key joint priorities such as legal migration, return, readmission and reintegration, and forced displacement.
The event was organised in the framework of the Mercator Dialogue on Asylum and Migration (MEDAM).
