Biography
Anna Knoll is the head of ECDPM's migration and mobility team.
Anna’s interests and expertise lie in the field of migration in international and Africa-Europe cooperation. Her current research focuses on the interaction between migration, displacement and development processes, the external and development dimension of the EU’s migration and asylum policies, migration in European development policies as well as African narratives, policies and processes on migration.
Prior to joining ECDPM, Anna worked as a German fellow at the UN World Food Programme and as an intern at the European Commission. Anna holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and economics from the University of Bayreuth and a master’s degree in international political economy from the London School of Economics.
