Supporting financial inclusion of migrants: Actors, approaches and avenues to overcome challenges

Remittances have proved to be an additional source of financing for development during crises, but some migrants are financially excluded in host countries, which limits their options to send earnings back home. In this report, Pamella Eunice Ahairwe and Amanda Bisong map public development actors’ interventions to promote the financial inclusion of migrants and boost remittances.
