Verengai Mabika is a leading voice in technology policy, passionate about shaping inclusive digital futures across Africa and the Global South. With over a decade of experience in digital policy, internet governance, and emerging technologies, he helps governments, NGOs, and civil society navigate complex digital transformation journeys.
As Partner, Digital Portfolio at Expectation State, Verengai leads strategic initiatives that address connectivity, privacy, cybersecurity, and digital sovereignty. Previously, at the Internet Society, he spearheaded efforts to strengthen internet infrastructure and promote open, secure, and accessible digital systems. A serial entrepreneur, he co-founded Golix, a blockchain platform driving financial inclusion, and the Development Reality Institute, focused on sustainable development and climate resilience.
