Watch: The role and place of development cooperation and finance in a more contested global environment

 

On 14 March 2023 from 14:00:15:30, ECDPM is hosting a panel discussion on the role and place of development cooperation and finance in a more contested global environment.

This is an in-person, invite only event which will also be available to watch via livestream

This event will start with guest introductory remarks by Carsten Staur, chair of the OECD’s Development Assistance Committee (DAC), who will share his perspective and thoughts on the evolution of the development and foreign policy agenda.

The invited audience and panel will share views on the changing development landscape and how development cooperation is increasingly being used as part of geopolitical outreach, as well as the shifts of the current aid and development finance system with increased focus on the mobilisation and involvement of the private sector.
