Global Gateway 2.0 and Team Finland
On 12 June 2025 from 09:00 – 13:00 CEST, ECDPM, in cooperation with the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and the Permanent Representation of Finland to the EU, is organising a discussion event and workshop in Helsinki on the topic of Global Gateway 2.0 and Team Finland.
The event is by invitation only.
The event will focus on Team Finland’s perspectives and plans for the European Commission’s next funding period (2028+), particularly regarding project financing, development, and implementation. The host of the event will be Ambassador for Global Gateway, Mr. Roy Eriksson.
The workshop will cover, among other topics:
- The European Commission’s plans for Global Gateway 2.0
- European cooperation networks in project implementation and financing
- Experiences and lessons learned from Finland’s Global Gateway initiatives (development, financing, and implementation)
- The role of the Team Finland network in Global Gateway activities and Finland’s future goals within the Global Gateway strategy
