EU Digital Global Gateway & Africa
On 28 February 2023, from 13:00 – 16:30 CET, ECDPM is organising an invite only, hybrid seminar which will focus on how the digital component of the EU Global Gateway can achieve its strategic goals in Africa, whilst responding to African priorities in a spirit of true partnership.
The seminar, supported by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, follows ECDPM’s recent publication, The Global Gateway and the EU as a digital actor in Africa. The paper argues that for the Global Gateway to be a success, it would require Team Europe to deliver impact at scale whilst offering an attractive narrative through its digital diplomacy that responds to partner countries’ needs.
This meeting is an invitation-based, closed-door event.
