The session provided an opportunity for public-private dialogue on ways to promote circularity in textile and garment supply chains. It provided insights into circular economy-related EU policy measures for textile and garments relevant for export opportunities from Kenya. The session also showcased examples of innovative circular textile initiatives in Kenya both from the public and private sector and explored ways to promote such developments.

The session was moderated by Mr Joseph Nyagari, Deputy Director – Textiles & Apparel, Gatsby Africa.
