Policy coherence for sustainable development (PCSD) presents an ambitious development proposition. In this article, ECDPM’s Jan Vanheukelom, James Mackie and Martin Ronceray draw six relevant lessons from the shift from good governance, another ambitious development agenda, to the more politically grounded and actionable agenda of good enough governance.

This article is a contribution to an external publication. A previous version of this article was presented as a contribution to the report Policy Coherence for Sustainable Development 2018: Towards Sustainable and Resilient Societies by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
