Alisa Herrero Cangas is an ECDPM Programme Associate after having previously been a Policy Officer at ECDPM from January 2009 to December 2016. With a background in international relations and development (Bachelor in political sciences from the Université Libre de Bruxelles and MSc Development Studies from the London School of Economics), she specialises in the inter-institutional aspects of EU external relations and in EU development cooperation, with a focus on development effectiveness, and financing for development. Before joining ECDPM, she worked in the food security section of the European Commission Delegation in Eritrea, and for different NGOs in India, Yemen and Brussels.
