We are looking for a Head of Human Resources to provide HR leadership to all levels within our Centre. The ideal candidate will have Masters degree in a relevant field, a minimum of 8-10 years experience in an equal position or will have worked as an HR manager in an international organization with overall responsibilities in training, employee development, performance management and/or compensation and benefits. (S)he will have experience with and knowledge of both Dutch and Belgian Labour Law, payroll, Social Security and compensation practices. S(he) will have solid knowledge of diversity and inclusion programmes and experience in building inclusive cultures. We are seeking a mature personality, with great communication and interpersonal skills, ability to relate to highly educated staff and who is a credible sparring partner for the Director and the Board. (S)he is result-oriented and applies a solid judgment ensuring integrity, compliance and confidentiality.
The Head of Human Resources reports directly to the Director and is part of the ECDPM Management Team. Her/his main responsibilities are:
• Formulating HR Management Strategy, Policy and Planning and processes.
• Develop and implement Succession Planning.
• Further strengthen Talent Management.
• Developing and monitoring HR annual objectives.
• Contribute to develop, implement and monitor the diversity and inclusion policies.
• Continuous improvement of HR processes and tools.
• Ensure internal and external equity of compensation packages.
• Advises Management on HR decisions.
• Together with the Director, responsible for an effective working relation with the Works Council.
