Biography

Robert has a background in Business Statistics from Makerere University, Diploma in Law from LDC, and a Master in Development Studies, majoring in Human Rights, Gender, and Conflict Studies from Erasmus University Rotterdam (ISS). He works in the different workstreams; The Governance and Accountability, The EU-AU institutional relations, and The Digital economy workstream with an interest in digital transformation, rule of law, governance, and youth.

Previously worked with Barefootlaw Uganda as Partnership and Development Officer– Start-up leveraging digital tools to provide access to justice, and legal empowerment to rural communities. He was part of the team awarded the King Baudouin African development prize award for best innovation in Africa. He is highly driven by creative solutions, evidence-based results, and social impact. Believer that inclusive use of digital technology will transform access to service delivery to communities.
