Pamella, a Ugandan national, works as a Junior Policy Officer for the Trade, Investment and Finance team. Pamella’s areas of work focus on blended finance; the role of development finance institutions, the EU financial architecture, agriculture finance, and climate finance in Europe, Africa Caribbean and Pacific (ACP), and beyond.
Before joining ECDPM, Pamella was an ACP Trainee in the Country and Financial Sector Analysis Division, Economics Department, at the European Investment Bank. Pamella has, in addition, previously participated in the USAID, UN, World Bank and GIZ funded development research projects in areas of finance, agriculture, education and health. She holds a Masters in Economics from University of Botswana, under the Collaborative Masters programme and an award of the African Economic Research Consortium. Pamella also has a BA (hons) Development Economics of Makerere University, Uganda.
