Biography
Stephanie Arnold is a PhD candidate at the University of Bologna in Italy and a PhD fellow in the digital governance cluster of the United Nations University CRIS in Bruges, Belgium. Her work focuses on the role of foreign players in the digital transition of sub-Saharan Africa.
Her research interests include ICT for development (ICT4D), digital governance in developing countries, and the interplay between Africa, China and the EU in the field of digital development. Prior to Stephanie's doctoral studies, she obtained a master’s degree in law from the University of Bologna.
