Biography


Martin Ronceray is a policy officer in ECDPM's inclusive governance and accountability team. He is also a member of the learning and quality team within the outreach and impact department.

Martin focuses on governance processes and decision-making, including democratic participation, civic tech, regional integration and international support. He currently leads a large project on civil society engagement and digital technologies in African regional contexts – the Charter Project Africa. He also supports international partners on themes such as anti-corruption, global health, policy coherence and civic space.

Prior to joining ECDPM in 2016, Martin worked for the European External Action Service at the EU delegation to Ethiopia, for central European think tanks and for the private sector. Martin studied international relations at the College of Europe in Bruges, and African and European affairs at Paris-Sorbonne University.
