Rising levels of forced displacement, chronic unemployment and global warming are among the greatest challenges of our time. Tackling these issues requires immediate and coordinated action from the EU, Member States and other donors.
The European Investment Bank will host its first Donors Conference on 14 November 2018. The event will bring together donors and beneficiaries with the aim of finding ways to build resilience against economic, social and climate-related risks. The stage will be set to host open discussions focused on addressing ways in which development finance and the use of innovative financial instruments can help tackle the root causes of migration, climate change, as well as boost economic growth and create new opportunities in beneficiary countries.
This is a closed event and participation is by invitation only.
ECDPM’s Anna Knoll will be a speaker at this conference.
