On the 29th of March ECDPM in collaboration with University of Pavia, Milano Bicocca University, University “Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano” and University of Gastronomic Sciences of Pollenzo is organising a Sustainable Agrifood System Strategies (SASS) Consortium Methodological Workshop at the Bicocca University in Milan.
This SASS-Kenya workshop has the following objectives:
– Discuss the “Draft SASS Food System Mapping for Naivasha” and respective research (intermediary) findings;
– Agree on key messages for the concluding section; prioritising interventions and pathways to solutions, and identifying policy entry-points for improving food system sustainability” i.e. what do the findings of researchers mean in terms of pathways for sustainability?;
– Decide respective plans to “test” such Solutions on the ground in coming months and deepen the research in Kenya for the remaining year of the SASS-project.
