PERIA lunch seminar series
As part of the series of lunch seminars on the political economy of regional integration in Africa, ECDPM has invited Paul Brenton to present some of the key findings from the recent World Bank report that he and Barak Hoffman edited. It looks at the various pathways towards regional integration in Sub Saharan Africa. The authors have tried to gain insights into the integration dynamics so as to learn lessons for how the World Bank and others can support the integration process. The study covers various sector analyses: agriculture, financial services, professional services, trade facilitation and transport. The study can be found here: http://ecdpm.org/wp-content/uploads/Political-Economy-Regional-Integration-SSA-World-Bank.pdf
The presentation will be followed by a panel discussion and dialogue with the participants.
