Pre-Tana Forum – Africa’s Economic-Security Nexus: Strengthening Regional Integration through AU Reform

The Institute for Peace and Security Studies (IPSS), the Graduate School of Development Policy and Practice (GSDPP), the University of Cape Town (UCT) and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) hold the forum “Africa’s economic-security nexus: Strengthening regional integration through AU reform” ahead of the annual Tana High-Level Forum on Security in Africa.

ECDPM’s Faten Aggad will participate as a panellist and hold a presentation based on her recent paper on the analysis of the 0.2% levy during the session on “Regional Integration, AU Reform and its financing in Africa: Why now?”, alongside the representatives from the UNECA and AU Reforms Unit.
