Migration and demography as central cooperation elements of the EU-AU relations

The Austrian Institute for European and Security Policy (AIES) together with the Directorate for Security Policy of the Austrian Ministry of Defence and Sports, organises an expert workshop on migration and demography as central cooperation elements of the EU-AU relations.

The speakers will try to address questions such as:

• What are the recent developments and the push-pull factors of migration from Africa to Europe?
• What are the future expectations of migration flows from the African continent to Europe?
• What kind of possibilities are present to influence the demographical developments in the Northern part of the African continent?

ECDPM’s Anna Knoll will be one of the experts who will speak during the workshop.
