The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) and IDH, The Sustainable Trade Initiative, are pleased to invite you to the ceremony officially unveiling the start of their budding collaboration, with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The intention of this new partnership is to improve the health and nutrition of small holder farmers and the surrounding communities at risk, through leveraging supply chains.

The afternoon will include a lively discussion on: Integrating better nutrition practices; the existing bottlenecks and foreseen benefits of addressing this challenge through Public-Private Partnerships. Joost Oorthuizen, Executive Director of IDH, Marc Van Ameringen, Executive Director of GAIN and Paulus Verschuren, Special Envoy for Food and Nutrition Security for Development at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will share with you their insights.

ECDPM’s Bruce Byiers will facilitate the debate.
