Organisers: Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH
A few months before official negotiations on the Post-2015 Agenda for Sustainable Development commence, worldwide deliberations are gaining urgency. The underlying principle for this agenda must be a new global partnership, as emphasised by the High-Level Panel of Eminent Persons on the Post-2015 Development Agenda in its report to the Secretary-General of the United Nations. Such an agenda with universal reach and responsibilities for all states and all stakeholders calls for a shift in the way we cooperate, consume and produce. It requires new thinking on the part of states, private businesses, civil society, media and every single one of us.
