“Food and Nutrition Security: linking Italy and Africa through the SASS project”
The sustainable development of food systems is one of the most important global challenges on which medical doctors, biologists, economists, botanists, anthropologists, agronomists, and sociologists work together.
University of Pavia, Milano Bicocca University, University “Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano” and University of Gastronomic Sciences of Pollenzo in collaboration with European Center for Development Policy Management take part in the SASS project – Sustainable Agrifood Systems Strategies
The Conference will be an opportunity to present the purposes, methods and preliminary results of the SASS project, contributing to a deeper knowledge of the potential of the African continent, also in terms of economic, social and environmental sustainability of food systems.
