Jointly organised by the EU institutions, EuroPCom is the annual event for communicating in/on Europe.
Communication managers and senior experts from local, regional, national and European authorities will attend lectures, debates, and interactive workshops for a dynamic two-day program to discuss major challenges in both EU and public communication.
This year, the conference will be organized back-to-back with the annual meeting of more than 500 Europe Direct Information Centres, enabling EuroPCom to be more pervasive and encompassing in European communication than ever.
Participants will be invited to attend a series of workshops and thematic debates at the European Committee of the Regions. The programme will also include interactive networking and conversation sessions on specific themes.
The plenary session on Wednesday afternoon, hosted by the European Parliament, will give the floor to top-level EU representatives and communication experts to elaborate on major topics at this year’s conference. This will also be the occasion to present and discuss the results of the new Eurobarometer survey, mapping the opinion of 50,000 citizens in more than 170 regions of the 28 EU member states.
The annual EuroPCom conference is an initiative of the European Committee of the Regions, organised in partnership with the European Parliament, the Council of the EU, the European Commission and the European Economic and Social Committee. All updates will be published on the website www.cor.europa.eu/europcom, and announced on EuroPCom’s social media pages (twitter and Linkedin)
