|Meeting
As part of the public consultation on its Transparency Policy, the EIB will organise a consultation meeting on 10th September 2014 in Brussels. This meeting is open to all interested stakeholders and offers the opportunity to exchange directly with EIB staff about the Bank’s Transparency policy and the key issues at stake within the review. This consultation meeting follows the kick-off meeting that took place on 10th July 2014.
Background
The EIB Transparency Policy sets out the principles and procedures of the Bank concerning information requests from the public, its approach to stakeholder engagement, and it defines, in a non-exhaustive manner, the information that the EIB makes routinely available to the public.
The current Transparency Policy was adopted in 2010, following a public consultation that took place in 2009, and this review follows the provision of the policy that it will be reviewed every 5 years.
The public consultation process seeks to solicit views and input from a wide array of stakeholders that can bring valuable expertise to the review which is expected to be finalised at the end of 2014.
For more information, see the main website about the public consultation.
Programme
The meeting will be followed by a networking lunch.
More details about the programme will be communicated to registered participants closer to the date of the meeting.
