Agriculture and food production is today one of the main drivers of climate change and biodiversity loss. This is highlighted in many different forms and forums, including the new Agenda 2030. In addition to this, we must produce up to 60 % more food in the coming years to feed the population of the globe.
How to overcome this challenge? Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) is a broad initiative that is promoted as part of the solution but has so far only had limited success although having a very high potential for solving the problems.
