2015 will see the superseding of the Millennium Development Goals by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), while next year has also been declared as the European Year for Development (#EYD2015).

In the context of the post-2015 financing debate, the EurActiv Institute invites you to a roundtable to explore these questions:

  • What lessons do the MDGs teach us in the context of Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs)?
  • What are the forms of partnerships between the public- and private-sector that should be championed to finance the post-2015 agenda, achieve goals in areas as diverse as water and renewables, and how can they be ‘scaled’?
  • What are the ideal transparency requirements for the private-sector in delivering overseas aid?
  • How can public-sector institutions’ involvement in PPPs be optimised?

ECDPM’s San Bilal will be on the panel.
