The European Centre for Development Policy Management (ECDPM) follows closely the Brexit negotiations and how it will affect Europe’s position in the world. The future (forms of) collaboration between the EU and the UK will impact a range of delicate dossiers, including the future of the relationship between Europe and Africa and a wide variety of third (developing) countries.

As discussions unfold, now is the time to reflect upon what shape the EU’s relationship with African and other countries should take after Brexit. A future EU-UK relation must also take into account how Brexit will impact ‘the rest of the world’.

To foster the debate and exchange views on this topic, ECDPM organises an informal lunchtime roundtable. The aim of this roundtable is to discuss: what will be the consequences of Brexit for EU aid, trade and development? What do third states think about it all?

Participation in this event is by invitation only. For questions related to this event, please contact Annette Powell
