|High-level conference
Now that the Ebola outbreak is almost contained, Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone are looking to resume business and rebuild their economies. Investments in the region are crucial to this recovery. The aim of this Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs conference is to explore investment opportunities that will contribute to sustainable growth.
The conference will build on the successful trade mission to the three countries led by the Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation, Lilianne Ploumen, in July this year. In all three countries many projects are either underway or in the pipeline to boost infrastructure, agriculture and health care, offering unprecedented opportunities for investment. With this in mind, the conference will focus on building bridges between professional investment institutions and investment projects.
The conference will attract international investors, including businesses, governmental representatives, multilateral institutions, development banks and NGOs. The presidents of the three countries have been invited as guests of honor.
Project proposals
If you wish to present your project proposal at the conference with international public and private investors, please fill out the submission form by 25 October 2015.
