As part of its mandate, the Permanent Mission of the African Union in Brussels aims to sensitise the African Group of Ambassadors on important issues related to the Africa-EU Partnership. It is in this spirit that the Permanent Mission organised in October 2015, a Workshop on the “Challenges and prospects in the implementation of the newly adopted 2030 Agenda for sustainable development”. As a follow up to this process, and in line with the Africa-EU Partnership and its 2014-2017 Roadmap (Priority Area 5: Global and Emerging Issues), the Permanent Mission deemed it necessary to organise a Workshop on state of play in the implementation of the AAAA a year after its adoption.

ECDPM’s Faten Aggad-Clerx and Luckystar Miyandazi gave a presentation on ‘Tax, good governance and the problem of illicit financial flows from Africa‘.
