Africa’s Development Dynamics is the first report of its kind. Led by and reflecting African perspectives and conceived and developed by African experts, the report is the initiative of the Department of Economic Affairs at the AU Commission, supported by the OECD Development Centre. The report serves as a platform for an international policy dialogue amongst members of the African Union, citizens, businesses, researchers, and partners in Europe and beyond. ECDPM’s Kathleen Van Hove will moderate the event

15.10-15.50: Panel discussion on the African Development Dynamics 2018: Victor Harison, Commissioner for Economic Affairs, African Union; Mario Pezzini, Director OECD Development Centre; Domenico Rosa, Head of Unit Strategic Partnerships: ACP-EU, AU-EU, APF, Directorate-General for International Cooperation and Development, European Commission.

15.50-16.30: Open Debate about Africa’s major economic and social trends and their implications for the continent’s relations with Europe and the rest of the world.
