ECDPM event
|Seminar
On 9 March 2017, the World Bank and ECDPM are organising a lunchtime seminar on regional integration and private investments in Africa.
The end of the commodity super-cycle increases the need for fresh thinking on existing ideas for development and transformation of Africa. Two approaches that have been there for a long time are regional integration and attracting private investments.
There is a lot of experience in terms of what works and what doesn’t work in these areas. This lunchtime seminar will be an opportunity to discuss new perspectives and move the dialogue forward on the synergy between these topics for Africa’s development.
Keynote speaker:
Mr Makhtar Diop, Vice President Africa of the World Bank
Panellists:
Mr Manservisi, Director General of DEVCO
Mrs Christine Leurquin, Vice President of SES
Chair:
Kathleen Van Hove, Senior Policy Officer, ECDPM
If you would like to attend the seminar, please register by filling out this short form before Monday, 6 March. There are limited seats available and we are expecting a full house, so we recommend you to register as soon as possible.
