We anticipate participation from 40 directors and heads of communication from bilateral agencies and development ministries, multilateral institutions and regional development banks. This year’s meeting will focus in particular on ways the Network can facilitate closer collaboration between communicators on the major development themes of 2015, especially the MDG-SDG transition.
Discussions on the meeting’s second day will focus on concluding the reflection process launched in May in order to define the Network’s future scope of work. To this end, a formal proposal from the Secretariat will soon be submitted for your review and discussion at the Annual Meeting.
Finally, the event will also be punctuated by a special launch event and distinguished panel discussion on 24 November for a joint DAC-DevCom good practice publication on 12 Lessons for Public Engagement and Development Co-operation.
