The European Centre for Development Policy Management (ECDPM) seeks to appoint a full-time staff member in the function of Junior Communications Officer to provide support in the design, planning, implementation and monitoring of communications activities with a particular focus on multimedia.
We are looking for a dynamic and innovative communications professional. The Junior Communications Officer will need to have the entrepreneurial ability to develop and implement communication strategies that engage different audiences.
The Junior Communications Officer will work under the supervision of the Head of Communications, and in close collaboration with colleagues from the ECDPM Programmes.
The Junior Communications Officer will be based in Brussels, Belgium and travel once a week to ECDPM’s office in Maastricht, the Netherlands. There will be some travel to Africa.

The Communications unit aims to increase the visibility and impact of ECDPM’s work at centre, programme and project levels. Effective communication is a critical part of shaping policy and practice. It ensures that the relevant information gets to the right people at the right time. The gross annual salary for the Junior Communications Officer position ranges between €37,039 and €42,063 depending on experience.
