Many of the processes in international development cooperation are multidimensional, interdependent and cut across many policy areas.
ECDPM has many cross-cutting topics that focus on the the building blocks of cooperation. In this way, we link the foundations of cooperation to its constituent parts and larger structure.
International cooperation is a positive sum game and we hope to create a level playing field in dialogue for more effective international cooperation.
Some of these cross-cutting topics focus on strengthening individual and organisational capacity to decide their own agenda, understand their own needs and implement sustainable reform – real progress means mutually reinforcing reforms across many sectors.
Looking at the big picture – we also focus on the broad institutional partnerships that help define the overarching relationship between Europe and Africa.
We invest in Knowledge Management and Communication (KMC) to support our role as trusted knowledge broker to key stakeholders and change makers.
