ECDPM recently welcomed Dr. Frank Okute and Pamphile Sebahara of the Levy Mwanawasa Regional Centre for Democracy, Good Governance, Human Rights and Civic Education (ICGLR-LMRC) at its head office in Maastricht.

Dr. Frank Okute is the Director of the ICGLR-LMRC, a small think tank based in Zambia which was created by the Heads of State and Government of eleven Member States of the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region (ICGLR) to provide policy relevant knowledge for the promotion of Democracy, Good Governance, Human Rights and Civic Education in the region.

They met with ECDPM’s Director Ewald Wermuth and Volker Hauck as Head of ECDPM’s Conflict, Security and Resilience programme. LMRC and ECDPM have worked in partnership since the operationalisation of the LMRC in 2012.
