Biography


Tarila Ebiede, a Nigerian national, was a Research Assistant in the Conflict, Security and Resilience programme – recruited through ECDPM’s Young International Professionals programme. He holds a MSc in Political Science from the University of Port Harcourt, and a BSc in Political Science from the Niger Delta University, Nigeria.

Tarila is finalising his Ph.D. at the Centre for Research on Peace and Development (CRPD) at the University of Leuven, Belgium. His research focuses on the reintegration of ex-militants in Nigeria’s Niger Delta.

Previously, he was a researcher at the Centre for the Study of the Economies of Africa (CSEA), Abuja. In 2010, he worked as a researcher at Stakeholder Democracy Network (SDN), Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
