Dalil Djinnit is a Research Assistant in the Young International Professionals Programme (YIPP). He formerly joined ECDPM as an intern for the EU-Africa taskforce and contributed in the briefing note 97.

Before joining ECDPM, he worked briefly at Harwood Levitt Consulting, a Brussels based strategy consulting firm, where he focused on political strategy and the effects of public policy on organizations and multinationals. Prior experience was gained at UNDP regional office for the Great Lakes and the Horn of Africa analyzing the lessons learned and prospects of UN conflict prevention efforts in the region. Dalil has also gained policy advice experience through a project recommending how to strengthen UN-EU cooperation in peacekeeping for the United Nations Liaison office for Peace and Security (UNLOPS).

He has a BA in Political Science with a focus in international relations from Vesalius College, Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). Dalil interests lie in EU-Africa relations, political economy analysis, economic and agricultural transformation.
