Informal Donor Network on Engaging the Private Sector for Development: 3rd Informal Donor Network Meeting

Event:
19 November 2013

In 2013 ECDPM initiated an informal donor network and has, to date, held two workshops with representatives from donor organisations, government bodies and financial institutions from around the world. The third in this series of meetings will be held on Tuesday 19 November 2013 and is organised in conjunction with the Donor Committee for Enterprise Development (DCED).

The aim of the initial workshops was to provide an informal setting for open and frank discussions on the challenges facing donor organisations and others working with the international private sector. The desired outcome of the meetings was to generate some shared knowledge on what other donors are doing, but also to raise issues that merit further discussion and/or research. By offering this informal setting, the aim was to complement and potentially feed into other on-going initiatives.

These meetings are limited to a selected number of invitees.

ECDPM wishes to thank IFC for hosting this meeting.
