Provisional programme:

  • 23 May: a high level panel on “Jobs for women and young people- the Transformative potential of Agri-business” on the first day of the AfDB annual meetings in the Mulungushi International Conference Centre (MICC). The panel is scheduled from 14.30-16 hrs and several other knowledge sessions are open to be attended by observers, allowing for excellent network opportunities! Basil Jones’ commitment and AERC’s capacity to make this happen is much appreciated! The outline for the panel as well as the concept note is attached to this message.
  • On the morning on the 24th of May there will be an exchange between INCLUDE researchers, Platform members and Secretariat to discuss the state of affairs of the research programmes and the policy relevance of the mid-term findings. The documentation on this part of the programme will be send to you in mail 3, later this week.
  • On the afternoon of the 24th and the morning of the 25th, there will be a Platform meeting.

ECDPM’s Jean Bossuyt will participate in these meetings in his capacity as formal member of the INCLUDE Knowledge Platform on Inclusive Development.
