In light of the Agenda 2030, this conference aims at raising awareness on the importance of EU development policies, their interdependence and coherence, as well as to measure the implementation progress achieved by the individual member states.

The first panel of the discussion will focus on the issue of development cooperation from an EU perspective, taking into account the linkages with other EU policies and current political realities. The second panel will explore development policies from an internal member state perspective and will discuss the progress, challenges and milestones faced by Slovenia in implementing the SDGs. The conference will bring together EU representatives, political foundations, local CSOs and academia to discuss the common approach to EU development policies and to monitor the achieved progress.

ECDPM’s Geert Laporte will sit on the panel.
